Friendly, clean waiting room and quick.
At Modern Trends near Simcoe, ON, we are committed to providing the best auto service experience for our customers. One of the ways we achieve this is by offering digital vehicle inspections (DVI). This advanced approach to car maintenance helps vehicle owners stay informed about their vehicle’s condition, making the auto repair process more transparent and efficient.
A digital inspection is a modern alternative to the traditional paper-based method of checking a vehicle’s condition. Instead of filling out handwritten forms, our technicians use specialized inspection software to document their findings. This software allows us to take detailed notes, checklists, and real-time updates, ensuring accuracy in every inspection.
Our inspection process begins with a full assessment of your vehicle’s key components. Using a tablet or mobile device, our trained technicians perform a step-by-step checkup, recording any issues or recommendations along the way. What makes this process different from traditional inspections is that it includes photos and video of your vehicle’s condition.
Once the digital inspection is complete, we send a detailed report directly to your phone or email. This allows you to review the technician’s findings, see images of any problems, and make informed decisions about necessary repairs.
At our auto repair shop, we believe that honesty and transparency are key to building strong relationships with our customers. Digital vehicle inspections (DVI) help us build trust by giving you clear evidence of your vehicle’s condition. Unlike a paper-based report that can be vague or difficult to read, a digital report includes high-quality photos and video so you can see exactly what our technicians see.
There are many advantages to choosing a digital inspection at Modern Trends, including:
Clear and Detailed Reports – You receive a digital report with images and videos that highlight any issues or concerns.
Convenient Access – Review the inspection results from your phone, tablet, or computer anytime, anywhere.
Better Decision-Making – With visual proof of needed repairs, you can confidently approve the work your vehicle requires.
Long-Term Vehicle Health – Regular digital vehicle inspections (DVI) help you track maintenance needs over time, preventing costly repairs down the road.
If you’re looking for an auto service centre that prioritizes transparency and convenience, Modern Trends near Simcoe, ON, is here to help. Our digital inspection system ensures that you stay informed every step of the way. Contact us today to schedule your next digital vehicle inspection (DVI) and experience the difference!

I have been dealing with modern trends for repairs on our vehicles for years! We own pelican pool and spa inc and it’s very important that our trucks are fixed as fast as possible. They do such a great job and we are never down a vehicle for more than a day! You guys deserve a 5 star! Thanks for fixing up one of our trucks yesterday! You were fast and efficient as usual!
Thanks!
My go-to mechanic for a few years now. Honest, fair, reliable and fast. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Looked after me quickly. They did only the necessary work on my vehicle, for a fair price!

Shout-out to Samantha, who is both the smiling face at reception and the conductor of the magic behind the scenes. Justin is the talented problem solver, with expertise and solid advice from the service bays.
Timely communication, quality workmanship combined with fair pricing..what more could I ask for in a mechanic?
If you live in or around Norwich, bring your car to Modern Trends Automotive.

Would definitely recommend taking ur vehicles here for service, repairs and or custom work/tuning. Logan did an amazing job bending and installing the stainless pipe on my 2500 Power Wagon, and it sounds nasty 😎 He does great custom exhaust work. I'll for sure be taking my truck there in the future for anything else I want to have done.
Knowledgeable staff, quick and quality service
